AVIONICS TECHNICIANS-ENTRY LEVEL
The Avionics Technician position requires a strong knowledge of piston and turbine aircraft airframe structural, electrical and avionics systems. The job requires the candidate to be proficient with avionics installs, troubleshooting and repairing avionics electrical systems in accordance with company approved policies and procedures to include use of electronic work order, technical manuals and signatures. Additionally, the job requires the candidate to demonstrate expertise using company provided avionics tooling, test equipment and technical references (aircraft manuals, electrical and avionics wiring diagrams and avionics manufacture or engineered avionics wiring diagrams). The Avionics Technician will work directly under the supervision of the Avionics Manager, Avionics Leads and/or Owner. The Avionics technician will be required to maintain professionalism with all company owners, employees, customers and vendors.
Required Job Functions with Limited Supervision shall include, however, not limited to:
Perform pre and post avionics installation aircraft, avionics and systems inspections
Removal and reinstallation of aircraft upholstery and panels for access to components
Daily use of Electronic Work Order System requirements to include the use of time clock, discrepancy login, electronic notification system including input of required discrepancy/corrective action with reference to approved data
Proficient in the use of avionics manufacture installation manuals and airframe specific maintenance and structural repair manuals and avionics and electrical wiring diagrams
Perform wire marking or labeling and fabrication of harness to include terminations using company provided calibrated tooling and equipment
Perform installation of wiring and components throughout aircraft to include harness, relay, circuit breakers, and instrument panels, junction boxes, switches and antennas
Performs proper tagging and identification including handling and storage of all items removed from aircraft in accordance with company repair station and quality control manuals
Required to attend on and offsite aircraft and avionics factory classes with duration from one day to several weeks including on the job training with payment per company policy
Required to work all hours Monday through Friday with possible shift work, weekend work and only as needed and directed by company management to include work performed away from home within the United States or internationally with travel by ground or air.
Required to train others in same, higher or lower capacities
Required to perform any other duties as assigned or directed by supervisors, leads or management
Job Specific Experience and Requirements
Valid driver's license and excellent driving record (prior to use of company vehicle)
Regular and mandatory overtime attendance as needed or required
Working in extreme temperatures, confined spaces and noisy environments.
Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds. Working with continued body motions to including working under and above aircraft using lifts, ladders, mechanical stands, and creepers
Standing for long periods of time and walking, bending, kneeling and sitting
Working under all lighting conditions, utilizing proper lighting to assist or enhance reading of small print and connector numbering and color identification
Education and Experience
High School graduate or equivalent required
Avionics Technical Training (College or Program School) Required
FAA Part 147 Avionics Training School or FAA Mechanic License with Airframe & Powerplant Rating preferred
Factory Airframe or Avionics company training certification preferred
AIRCRAFT TECHNICIANS-ENTRY LEVEL
The Aircraft Maintenance and Structural Technician position requires a strong knowledge of piston and turbine aircraft airframe maintenance, repair and inspections including structural repair and avionics component installations. The job requires the candidate to be proficient with the maintenance, repair and inspection of aircraft systems, including, however, not limited to electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and structural systems in accordance with company approved policies and procedures. The job requires the use of electronic work order, technical manuals and signatures. Additionally, the job requires the candidate to demonstrate expertise using company provided maintenance, repair and inspection tooling, test equipment and technical references (aircraft manuals, electrical wiring diagrams, structural repair manuals). The Aircraft Maintenance and Structural Technician will work directly under the supervision of the Maintenance Manager, Maintenance Leads and/or Owner. The Aircraft Maintenance and Structural Technician will be required to maintain professionalism with all company owners, employees, customers and vendors.

The Aircraft Maintenance and Structural Technician will be trained to perform various inspections including Phase and Document Inspections and prepare necessary documents (FAA Form 337, Maintenance Transaction Reports, Cescom/Camp) for the return to service of aircraft and as required. The candidate will also be trained for the same including the performance of preliminary inspections, functional checks and final inspections as required by the use of the Electronic Record System. Additionally, the candidate will be trained on the research of Airframe, Accessory and Engine, Propeller Service Bulletins and Airworthiness Directives (AD) including TCDS and STC’s
